Workshop on Ultrasound Assessment of Concrete Structures

Join us for a half-day, hands-on workshop sponsored by ACS International and BDI, focusing on the application of ultrasonic testing for the condition assessment of reinforced concrete structures. Participants will be provided with an overview of ultrasound principles, including effectively designing a comprehensive NDT-E testing plan for real-world structures. Key topics will cover the correct selection of parameters, data management, and step-by-step data collection and processing.
Following the principles review, attendees will engage in hands-on training with laboratory specimens. The workshop will conclude with demonstrations from leading NDT-E equipment manufacturers, showcasing their latest technologies in the laboratory.

Discussion Workshop NDT-CE Data Quality

Test data is the foundation of all NDT-CE applications. Presently, NDT-CE data is handled individually by equipment manufacturers. Data analysis utilizes commercial software or such originating from research. Now, NDT-CE data is challenged to be integrated into the advances in the area of machine learning and artificial intelligence, emphasizing the need for high quality in data collection, analysis and reporting.
This half day workshop is intended to discuss specific aspects of NDT-CE Data Quality and to contribute to a pledge for best practices in NDT-CE:

Participants are expected to bring their experiences, examples, questions, solutions to the workshop for presentation and discussion.
